This year, just like the preceding ones, the ceremony of granting diplomas to the students who received their professional qualification passed in a cheerful holiday mood for the

Faculty of History and Law.
The anthems of the Republic of Armenia and the Pedagogical University preceded the main ceremony of granting diplomas; afterwards, the 2011/12 certification examination results were summarized.
Professional diplomas were then granted to 94 graduates of History BA course, 12 of whom had Honour Degree; besides, 65 graduates of the Law/ Pedagogy/ received their diplomas, 5 of whom with Honour Degree.
In addition, 37 graduates from the History MA course also received their diplomas, and 19 of them had Honour Degree; and the Law /Pedagogy/ MA course had 16 graduates with 6 with Honour Degree.
The Pedagogical University Chancellor, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Rouben Mirzakhanyan congratulated the University graduates and added, «Dear graduates, throughout the years you will get assured that the university years have been the best period of your life. It is during this period that you realised yourselves as specialists, teachers of national schools. I am assured, that your further work will assert the immense role of the Pedagogical University in public life».

«On my deepest belief you have chosen the best specialisations that are of utmost use to our society; still, it will serve good for the nation only in case of profound knowledge. I want you to keep high the name of the University and the Faculty in particular with your active public and pedagogical activities», said the Dean of the Faculty of History and Law, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Edick Gevorgyan, thus wishing good luck to the graduates.
The graduates of the Faculty in their turn expressed their gratitude and presented letters of deepest acknowledgement to the University and Faculty board of management, to the teaching professorial team for the years' hard work and entire dedication.
