Tigran Sargsyan, Armenia’s Prime Minister and Chairman of the Governing Council of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) handed over diplomas to the best graduates of

the ASPU at the Aram Khachaturian Philharmonic Great Hall.

The event began with the blessing of Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan.

Congratulating the graduates, the spiritual leader said, “You are stepping into a new life today. I wish you left you seals on life as ASPU graduates and never be influenced by your environment. Always row against the current; it is characteristic of an individual.”

Further on, Chairman of the ASPU Governing Council Tigran Sargsyan handed over Diplomas with Honours to the best 22 students of the eleven faculties.

The official ceremony was followed by a festive concert, with Armenian singers Mher, David Amalyan, Arsen Grigoryan (Mro), Sofi Mkheyan, Vardan Badalyan, Narek Baveyan and Erik performing for the graduates.

The tradition of handing over diplomas to university graduates in the same day was established in 2011. The Pedagogical University had 2003 graduates this year.
