The students presented at the exhibition the didactic materials they had prepared after studying various theories. The materials referred to the spheres of phototherapy, mask therapy and art therapy.
“The exhibition aims to show the role and importance of psychotherapy during the psychological treatment. While preparing the didactic materials, the students also disclosed their internal potential,” said Lilit Baghdasaryan.
The students exhibited photo collages, hand-made masks and caulking works which they made guided by the methods of Gagik Nazloyan, the founder of mask therapy. Within the realms of fairytale therapy, they also made special tales for the blind.
Lilit Mnatsakanyan, a first-year MA student of the Department of Correcting Pedagogy and Special Psychology, presented at the exhibition the interrelation between mask therapy and nature. As she said, they had used the didactic materials in their practice and achieved the desired result.
