Admission to Master's Degree Courses Continues

Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) has started admission to master's degree courses for the 2012–2013 academic year. 

 
The first phase of admission is due to take place from May 20 to July 20. Tuition for this phase shall be payable. The phase is meant for graduates of the ASPU and other universities who want to major in 47 subjects in full-time education.
 
 “There has been an unprecedented influx of applicants compared with previous years. At least 600 entrants have applied to the University this year against the former 300-400 entrants, with most of them applying to the faculties of Philology, Primary Education, History and Law, Foreign Languages,” says Lyova Harutyunyan, Head of Master’s Degree Courses. 
 
Besides full-time education, the ASPU also organizes distance learning courses in Law, Pedagogy and Methodology (Elementary Education), Armenian Language and Literature.
 

 
 
It is due to mention that out of the 1179 seats allocated to the ASPU by the RA Ministry of Education and Science, 115 are free of charge, and the graduates with the highest academic performance have a unique opportunity to complete a master's degree without entrance examinations.
 
Eleven of them are meant for demobilized students and 29 for graduates with excellent academic performance and extension of the right to study. 
 
The second phase (with no extension) is scheduled from August 25 to 30. This phase is meant for students of other universities.
