KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

By the decree of Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Professor of the Faculty of Physics and Technology at Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), Associate Professor Sergey Nersisyan has been awarded the "Drastamat Kanayan" Medal.

Mr. Nersisyan was awarded for his support to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, contribution to the patriotic education of the youth and on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the formation of the RA Armed Forces.

It is noteworthy that Sergey Nersisyan, who is also Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, is the author of Russian-Armenian Military Dictionary and Explanatory Dictionary of Military Terms. He has also written and translated a number of books about different types of arms.
