Representatives of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) recently visited Tbilisi, Georgia, on a working visit. Mher Melik-Bakhshyan, Vice-Rector for Educational, Methodological and Scientific Affairs, and Christina Tsaturyan, Head of the International Cooperation Department, visited Ilia State University (ISU) where they met with ISU Rector Gigi Tevzadze.
The interlocutors discussed the possibility of cooperation between the two universities under question and agreed to continue efforts in this direction. The parties also agreed to give legal formulation to the practical collaboration. Within the framework of cooperation, the Universities will organize reciprocal visits to ensure an exchange of experience for students and lecturer-professorial team, implement joint educational and research programs, publicize articles, etc.
By the order of ASPU Rector Rouben Mirzakhanyan, the ASPU representatives gave Gigi Tevzadze the highest award of Armenian State Pedagogical University and invited him to participate in the jubilee event to mark the 90th anniversary of the ASPU. Gigi Tevzadze accepted the invitation with pleasure.
