This year marks the 100th anniversary of the staging of the first Armenian national opera Anoush – a five-act opera composed by Armen Tigranian. The lecturers and students of the Department of Music Education at the Faculty of Fine Arts also marked this major cultural event.
They laid flowers at the monument to the great composer and conductor Armen Tigranian at “Oghakadzev” (Oval) Park in Yerevan. The event especially impressed the sophomores of the Faculty: the lesson in “Armenian Music History” was devoted to the history of Anoush opera.
The bowing ceremony became a symbol of eternity of the composer’s talent and Anoush opera.
