ASPU delegates visit Finland

A delegation of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) headed by Mher Melik-Bakhshyan, Vice-Rector for Educational, Methodological and Scientific Work, visited Finland on September 8. 

The visit to the University of Oulu (Finland) was organized within the framework of cooperation between ASPU-Oulu University and Bridge of Hope NGO- Oulu University and was financed by the second loan project “Education Quality and Compliance.”
 
The ASPU delegation included Armine Avagyan, Dean of the Faculty of Special Education, and leading lecturers of the faculty. Representatives of the RA Ministry of Education and Science and National Institute of Education also left for Finland within the framework of the program. 
 
Members of the Armenian delegation held meetings with the Head of the Education Department and Dean of the Faculty of


 Education of Oulu University. The Armenian delegates also visited the inclusive school and participated in the process of teaching. 
 
Mher Melik-Bakhshyan, ASPU Vice-Rector for Educational, Methodological and Scientific Work, met with the Deputy Mayor of Oulu City and the Rector of Oulu University. Mher Melik-Bakhshyan conveyed to the Rector of Oulu University the invitation of the ASPU Rector to participate in the events marking the 90th anniversary of the ASPU. The invitation was accepted with pleasure. 
 
The visit to the best Finnish pedagogical university aimed to get familiarized with the provisions and principles of inclusive education and organization of education in general.
