Within the framework events arranged for 90th anniversary of the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan a variety of events, scientific conferences are being
organized.
On this occasion the Vice Chancellor of Scientific and Postgraduate Work, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Ara Yeremyan informed that by joint efforts of the University’s teaching-professorial team the illustrated album about the University is to be published in close future.
The trilingual album in Armenian, Russian and English aims to make the pedagogical heritage of the University the property of generations, to represent all stages of the University’s history including the establishment, development stages and path, its present and perspectives.
Besides, the album will also include the history of creation of the Armenian alphabet, organization of prominent schools and monastic universities in times of medieval Armenia, the establishment of the Pedagogical University, its initial working years, as well as the University participation in the Great Patriotic War and the Artsakh heroic battle.
“We open the album with the invention of the alphabet as it is one of the most important historic corners for our nation; this is what pedagogy derived from. And that vital historic event could not remain unnoticed by the Pedagogical University. This album is to a great extent illustrated, and will be completely ready for the great event on the 90th anniversary of the University,” Ara Yeremyan mentioned.
What is more- the readers will be able to get acquainted with the activities developed by the Pedagogical University starting from 1990 up till our days.
