On this occasion, the governmental –cultural delegation from Armenia made a visit Istanbul from 4-8 September to confer the highest awards from Armenia in the author’s nativity.
The delegation consisted of the Assistant to the President of RA Avetis Berberyan, President of the Writer’s Union of Armenia Levon Ananyan, Director of the “Spyurq” ASPU Center of Resource Center, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Suren Danielyan, employee of the same center, expert in literature Qnarik Abrahamyan.
On the very first day, the members of the delegation met Zareh Khrakhouni, conversed about his immense literary merit, new creative programmes.

Moreover, there the delegates also had a meeting with the Spiritual Leader of Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople, Archbishop Aram Ateshyan and discussed urgent literary-cultural and ecclesiastical issues, emphasizing the role of the modern Istanbul-Armenian literature in the full background of the Diaspora.
Besides, at the specially organized event the Armenia delegation also met the Vicar of the Armenian Patriarchate in Constantinople, outstanding representatives of the spiritual and cultural sphere, and other guests from Armenia.
Upon greeting those present at the event, Zareh Khrakhouni expressed his gratitude to the RA President Serzj Sargisyan, to the members of the literary family for conferring such a high award on him.
