On 14 September, the reporting session 2009-2012 of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense and the initial session of the newly elected council took place; the session

was marked with the participation of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Seyran Ohanyan.
The session discussed issues about the report of the fulfilled activities of Public Council, “The Collection of Studies, Reports, and Proposals by the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense (08.2009-08.2012)” and defined its further activities.
In his turn, the Minister of Defense congratulated on the formation of the newly elected Council and highly praised the work of the Council.
Upon the end of the session the Minister of Defense granted medals to a number of members of the Council.
Likewise, Mr. Seyran Ohanyan also granted the “Marshal Baghramyan” departmental medal to the Deputy Dean on Science and Postgraduate Education of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Hakob Tadevosyan for his contribution to the army-society relationship-building matters.
