Training courses for lecturer-servicemen and military psychologists of the RA Defense Ministry launched at Armenian State Pedagogical University on September 18.
The 72-hour coursesare organized by the Center for Professional Qualification Development and Intercollegiate Cooperation.
The studies will focus on military psychology, its objectives and research methods, mental state and higher cognitive processes, psychology of the military personnel, person and military service, psychological preparation of soldiers, psychological support, psychological rehabilitation, general characteristics of psychological war.
The courses will be conducted by specialists with extensive training experience, including HakobTadevosyan,Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor and Psychologist, VazgenMargaryan, Colonel at the D. Kanayan Institute for National Strategic Studies under the RA Ministry of Defense, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, and KamoVardanyan, Head of the Scientific Research Center of the ASPU, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor and Suicidologist.
The training course will last until September 29. At the end of the course, the participants will receive certificates of completion.
