Finnish Delegates Visit Pedagogical University

A group of Finnish professors have paid another visit to Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) within the framework of cooperation between the ASPU and the University of


 Oulu, Finland. The collaboration between the two universities started in 2011.
 
The representatives of the Finnish university are at the Pedagogical University for the third time within the framework of the second loan project “Education Quality and Compliance.”
 
Greeting the guests, ASPU Chancellor, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor Rouben Mirzakhanyan thanked them for the warm welcome given to the ASPU delegates in Finland and expressed the hope that the coming days of collaboration would be fruitful and practical.
 
 “Education is on a high level in Scandinavian countries, especially in Finland, and it fully meets the international standards. Given the experience of your University, I believe that the comprehensive improvement of teaching methods, educational programs and student practice will yield desired results,” said Mr. Mirzakhanyan.
 
The delegates of Oulu University also expressed confidence that reciprocal visits and cooperation would further contribute to reforming education in the two universities.
 

The cooperation with the Finnish University aims to reform higher pedagogical education in Armenia under the aegis of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan.
