A 72-hour training course for lecturer-servicemen and military psychologists of the RA Defense Ministry was held at the Pedagogical University from Sept. 18 to 29.

The training course organized by the Center for Professional Qualification Development and Intercollegiate Cooperation was conducted by experienced specialists, includingHakobTadevosyan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor and Psychologist, VazgenMargaryan, Colonel at the D. Kanayan Institute for National Strategic Studies under the RA Ministry of Defense, Candidate of Psychological Sciences and Associate Professor, KamoVardanyan, Head of the Scientific Research Center of the Pedagogical University, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor and Suicidologist and Mariam Mehrabyan, researcher at the Psychology Research Laboratory.
The training course was conducted in the following directions: “Military Psychology; Objectives and Research Methods,” “Mental State and Higher Cognitive Processes,” “Psychology of the Military Personnel,”“Individual and Military Service,” “Psychological Preparedness of Soldiers,”“Psychological Support,” “Psychological Rehabilitation,” “General Characteristics of Psychological War.”
At the end of the course, all attendees received certificates of participation.
