Intellectuals are Competing

Today, an Intellectual game-competition arranged by the Faculty of History and Law was held at the Pedagogical University, which was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the

 University.
 
8 teams consisting of 1st to 4th year students participated in the competition. 
 
Among the jury members there were the Faculty’s Deputy Dean on Science and Postgraduate Education, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Frunzei Mayilyan, the Chairman of the Traders Union Iskuhi Lapayan, the head of the Intellectual Commission of the Students Council Lilit Vahanyan, lecturer in the Chair of World History and its Teaching Methods Hayk Grigoryan, and the Head of Faculty Council Tigran Khachatryan.
 
The latter greeted the participant teams, introduced the competition rules and informed that the Victory Cup would further on be passed from winner to winner; moreover, intellectual game-competitions like that would be arranged every semester. 
 
The competing teams answered logical question referring to a variety of spheres.
 
Later on, after summarizing the results, it was clear that the 1st prize was awarded to team “Nairi”, the second and third prizes went to teams “Kilikia” and “Urartu” correspondingly.
The Victory Cup was awarded to the “Nairi” team, while the second and third prize winners received participation diplomas and souvenirs.
