On October 6, the Pedagogical University participated in the city clean-up (commonly known as subbotnik).
Ten faculties and student councils arranged for clean-up, waste disposal and improvement of green places in the vicinity of six buildings of the University.
The students and staff members collected all kinds of garbage and litter, cleaning an area of about 2000 square meters.
Tigran Ayvazyan, Vice Rector for Distance and Additional Education, and Armen Tamazyan, Vice Rector for General Affairs, followed the process of work.
Talking to armspu.am, Head of the Economic Department Volodya Mshetsyan expressed the hope that by the end of autumn the Yerevan Municipality will honour the University’s request and trim the trees in the neighboring gardens.
