Four-year students of the Department of Fine Arts and Drawing led by lecturer Naira Mkhitaryan underwent their practice in Yerevan schools, including Basic School #104.
Basic skills to use a brush, mix colors and apply them to the canvas, paint in oil … the students shared the knowledge that guides every and each artist with schoolchildren during the lesson of painting.
In the course of the educational practice, the University students were both teachers and learners, with teachers of the basic school assisting the future pedagogues in every issue.
“The practice somehow summed up the knowledge our students had gained during the four years of studies. It was a kind of test that enabled them to remember what they had learnt and transfer them to future generations in a new way,” said Methodist Naira Mkhitaryan.
The warm welcome the students received by Principal Haykanush Nikoyan, teaching staff and schoolchildren promoted the efficiency of the practice and stirred up creativity and enthusiasm among the students.
The students and their supervisor Naira Mkhitaryan received a certificate of appreciation for conducting the practice at the highest possible level and for their active participation in the organizational work in the basic school.
