Manifestation of Aggressive behavior: Pedagogues’ Discussions

“There is are no aggressive children, only children’s behavior may be aggressive,” the student of the Faculty of Primary Education Anna Avetisyan is assured. The future

 pedagogue came up with this conclusion after studying the theories representatives of various directions of psychology on child aggression, its nature and essence.
 
 During the scientific conference headed “ Manifestation of Aggressive Behavior at Pre- School Age” she reminds that to overcome aggression first of all it is necessary to search and find the reasons for manifestation, and only then start overcoming it.
 
In addition, as she considers, the basis for manifestation of aggressive behavior at pre-school age should be searched for in families, within the context of parental education and relationship.
 
Likewise, the fourth year student Arusyak Nersisyan speaks about the reasons of manifestation of aggressive behavior at pre-school age, their peaceful solution, and suggests a remedy such as engaging the child in a sport, as it strongly affects the child’s personality formation, demeanor, and at the end of the day the child no longer applies force towards younger persons so as to manifest superiority.
 
In her turn, Lilit Abreyan, the graduate of the Pedagogical University, teacher at the secondary school  in Ashotsq, referring to age specifications of manifestation of aggressive behavior at pre-school age, mentions, “ If parents and educators demonstrate intolerance towards any kind of manifestation of observable aggression, in this case symbolic forms of aggression may be formed”.
 

Moreover, she is sure that the parents should not forget that they serve the best example for children of that age with their actions and relations with the society.
 
Besides, those present at the scientific conference arranged by the Academic Scientific Association of the Faculty of Primary Education, among whom were the Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education Heghinei Khachatryan, Deputy Dean on Science and Postgraduate Education Lucine Poghosyan, the Head of the Department of Primary Pedagogy and Methodology Svetlana Maroutyan did not stay aside of discussions too.
 
“The problem of aggression has always existed; only in our days it has reached its zenith. Pre-school age is the main period for children to manifest aggressive behavior. As future pedagogues, our students tried to raise these problems during the classes and to find ways to overcome them,” Heghinei Khachatryan said.
 
She also called for the participants to create groups, to visit pre-school establishments, to study aggression issues and to give them solutions with the help of specialists.
