New Exhibitions are On at the ASPU Museum

Within the scope of the International Day of Monuments and Sites, the Museum of the Pedagogical University will be holding an exhibition headed “Monuments on Postal Stamps” from 17 April to 30 May.

The exhibition represents Armenian ecclesiastical monuments, cross-stones, sculptures from both within Armenia and various other countries; in this scope, the horse statue of Sasuntsi Davit, the Statue of Mother Armenia, and Hayk are particularly outstanding among the exhibits. As well as, images of magnificent architectural constructions, such as the Sardarapat and the Erebuni museum images are also displayed. In addition, architectural buildings and sculptures of various countries of the world on postal stamps are also demonstrated at the exhibition.

We would like to note that the exhibited postal stamps are presented from the personal collection of the Associate Professor of the ASPU Chair of Chemistry and its Teaching Methods Ashot Babakhanyan.

And last but not least, a photo exhibition headed “Armenian Genocide Reflections in Arts” has also been launched at the Museum of the Pedagogical University. This exhibition portrays how people’s persistence, the permanent fight for survival has become a subject for considerations and got reflected in arts.
