KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The Student Council of the Faculty of Culture at the Armenian State Pedagogical University and the ASPU Chair of Artistic Photography and Camera Work jointly organized a New Year’s photo competition-exhibition. Festive clothes and mood, children, fireworks, the main Christmas tree and New Year’s ornaments — this and other pre-festive scenes were the scenes that were sought by the participants of the competition (students of different divisions of the Faculty of Culture).

Out of the submitted photos, the top 15 were selected and will be exhibited for three days in the hall on the first floor of the Faculty of Culture, creating the New Year’s mood.

Master’s student of the Division for Artistic Photography Arpine Karapetyan mentioned that it is a pleasure for her to participate in similar exhibitions.

“There is more than fireworks in my photo. There is a memory in every color — bad, good, adventurous, mixed. The cracks glowing from the fireworks are eruptions of the heart that remind us that you should not forget the memories that gave you moments of instant joy,” first-year student of the Division for Journalism Liana Petrosyan remarked, adding that she is participating in such a competition-event for the first time ever.

Let us add that the Student Council of the Faculty of Culture promises to make such competition-exhibitions ongoing.
