KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The results of an Olympiad on the History of Armenia held at the initiative of the Faculty of History and Law were summed up at Armenian State Pedagogical University on November 9.

Overal, 207 schoolchildren from 88 secondary and 88 high schools across the country participated in the Olympiad.

Edgar Hovhannisyan, Dean of the Faculty of History and Law, handed diplomas and prizes to the best ten winners in each age group. The students were also offered tuition fee discounts. Also, the three pupils with the highest scores were presented with expensive awards and up to 50 percent of tuition fee discount.

Edgar Hovhannisyan congratulated the participants, winners, as well as their teachers, parents and thanked them for their interest in the subject.

The Dean of the Faculty also spoke about the internalization of the University, its possibilities and achievements and invited the participants to study at the Pedagogical University.
