From 22-26 October, a week’s training was organised at the Tallinn University of Technology within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “Boosting Strategy and Marketing for Internationalization of Armenian Universities /BOOST/”.
The training on the topic of “Joint educational programmes and credit mobility” involved 21 representatives from the project’s partner universities of Armenia, including the ASPU after Kh. Abovyan, the American University of Armenia, the State Conservatory of Yerevan, the State University of Shirak, the State University of Vanadzor, the RA Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the National Information Centre of Academic Recognition and Mobility.
The participants from the Pedagogical University included the Head of the Department of International Cooperation Marianna Harutyunyan, the Deputy Head of the given Department Anna Hakhumyan, and the employee of the same Department Ms. Raisa Avetyan. In the process of training, the staff members of the Tallinn University of Technology, as well as the European partners of the project introduced the participants with the full cycle of drafting and implementing joint educational projects, their familiarisation process, the strategy and marketing of internationalisation of universities, the Erasmus Mundus joint postgraduate programmes, the Erasmus+ credit mobility programmes, etc.
On 23 October, the participants visited the Tartu University and got familiarised with the internationalisation mechanisms and projects of that university.
On 24 October, the Project Coordinating meeting was held, during which the project achievements, expenses and future activities were discussed.
To conclude, we would like to remind that the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan is the coordinator of the Erasmus+ project “Boosting Strategy and Marketing for Internationalisation of Armenian Universities /BOOST/”.
