“Transition to the new educational system requires new knowledge, including in the IT sphere”, assured Rouben Mirzakhanyan and added that the Google Classroom platform, which had been used at the University for already a while, would help them not to stay behind the changes in education sector.

“After the process of analyzing the assessment and wrap-up of the professional training session the specialists marked the strengths and weaknesses, risks and improvements thereof, and thanks to that it would be possible to change and improve the system in future.”
The Dean of the Faculty of Philology Ashot Galstyan spoke about the organization of the process highlighting that the best trainers had been chosen, and the topics were quite actual. Likewise, the Dean added that they were glad to see the training programmes on pedagogy, however, a more substantial meaning could have been given to the pedagogical methodology.

In her turn, the lecturer of the Chair of Ancient and Medieval Armenian Literature and its Teaching Methods, Professor Aelita Doloukhanyan noticed that the topic she had introduced during the training session about the “International Value of Medieval Armenian Literature” was not included either in undergraduate, or postgraduate academic programmes.
