From 3 to 30 August, a training course for people who want to receive the right (certificate) to manage a preschool educational institution was held at ASPU.

The course consisting of 110 academic hours included knowledge on education legislation, management, pedagogical psychology: and teaching methods.

The certificates will enable the participants of the course to participate in the exams for obtaining the right to manage preschools.

ASPU Rector Srbuhi Gevorgyan congratulated the training participants and gave them the certificates. She emphasized that it was the first time the university is holding training in that field. She believes that trainees' suggestions and considerations will reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the process, and their observations will help review the program and methods.

Professor Gevorgyan reminded once again that the subject of childhood has also changed in changing times. in the field of psychology and education, the methodical approach to children’s knowledge needs to be revised; there is still a lot to be done.

Srbuhi Gevorgyan urged preschool principals to join the research, draft a package of problems during practice, and understand the new psychophysiological patterns in which the child has appeared.

The rector is sure that it will be possible to apply pedagogical communication and influence abilities of the child's development in the new courses. “When summarizing the training results, the curricula and subject descriptions will be revised, and new courses will be developed. As representatives of the practical field, we also expect your participation and advice in those processes," the rector noted.

The participants highly appreciated the level of preparedness, practical abilities, innovative approaches of the knowledgeable and literate representatives of the Chair of Preschool Education and Methodology whose primary attention was the changes in the field of preschool education.

The participants stressed that apart from the questionnaires, they also gained additional knowledge. They hope that the sides will continue cooperation and they will participate in other courses to be held at the university as well.

"We work to ensure your success," Armenuhi Manukyan, Acting Head of the Chair of Preschool Education and Methodology, reminded of the motto of the structure she heads and added that they worked with great dedication.

Acting professor Alla Dallakyan, one of the training pedagogues, considers the participants to be her partners. She says they have a lot to do together; the field of preschool education needs to be reviewed.
