KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On the last but one day of the international project “Summer School 2017” the participants had another trip to Yerevan; the foreign young people made their first stop at the Vernisazh open-air flea market.

Hand-made jewelry with Armenian ornaments, souvenirs, sweets, Dhol, etc. – before returning to their countries the participants of the project were choosing gifts that would represent Armenia- the country of the Sun and mountains in their own states. In their opinion, the souvenirs would become true symbols of the ten days spent in Armenia.

On the same day, the participants visited the Pedagogical University, had a tour at the University’s Museum and got familiarised with the University’s history and chronology. In the Museum’s journal of impressions the student Svetlana Kochetkova expressed acknowledgements to the Pedagogical University for the opportunity to visit Armenia, hoping for further long-term cooperation between the ASPU and the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.

At the Pedagogical University the participants of the “Summer School 2017” international project met with the RA Deputy Minister of ES Davit Sahakyan. The latter introduced the foreign visitors with higher education system model in Armenia and replied to their questions.

We would also like to mention that the closing ceremony of the ten-day “Summer School 2017” international project would be held at the Educational base in Aghavnadzor on 22 August.
