On 21 June, within the framework of the project On 21 June, within the framework of the project TEMPUS ESPAQ /Enhancing Students Participation in Quality Assurance (QA) in Armenian HE/ the representatives from partner Universities of Italy, Spain and Romania visited the ASPU.
During the meeting the representative of the Department of International Relations Raisa Avetyan introduced the foreign guests with the University’s structure, the process of internationalisation as a primary and strategic area for the University.
Senior Specialist of Education Reforms and Quality Assurance Anna Hakhumyan spoke about the process of quality assurance at the ASPU, together with the area reforms and accreditation process, and students’ involvement therein.
In her turn, the Head of the Department of E-learning Anoush Sargsyan spoke about the structure of e-learning, its peculiarities, the accomplished work, as well as referred to the e- learning as an additional service provided for the students.
Among those participating in the meeting was the student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Alina Poghosyan, who participated in training sessions organized at the University of Macerata in Italy in October last year, and the student of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology Mariam Yevdokimova. Within the framework of the ESPAQ project, the latter visited Wroclaw city in Poland as a member of Armenian Students Association in June. There she got familiarised with the quality assurance processes and students services at local universities.
And last but not least, the discussion and wrap-up of outcomes of visits to the universities of Armenia was held at the Armenian National Centre for Professional Education Quality Assurance on 22 June; among those participating at the meeting were the ASPU representatives Raisa Avetyan and Anna Hakhumyan. During the discussions the European partners particularly highlighted the work carried out by the ASPU in the process of students services.
