KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

“The Armenian Mesropian Script is the hope, salvation and belief in God, which is also the anchor of existence for the Armenian nation”, assured the pupils of the 1st C /Arevner/ [Suns] grade during the event “Farewell to the Alphabet” organized on the occasion of successfully wrapping up the phase of learning the alphabet.

Creation of the Armenian Alphabet, Anniversary of Mother Armenia and the oath and confession of love of the homeland by the courageous soldiers of the Armenian Defence Army- during the event the children were giving lessons of patriotism with the proud plea of being an Armenian.
“What do we have in the world that is ours as much as the first and the last love”,- mentioned the Armenian children born under the Armenian Tricolour, after which they cited Sahyan, “our language is our blood, more dear than blood, our language is us.”

The event headed “Farewell to the Alphabet” was accompanied by songs and dances, beautiful performances, sweet surprise. The “Arevner”[Suns] presented to the audience their recipe of “Smile” made by themselves with love, affection, kindness, and out of the best features of the teachers. This was also some kind of message to the parents that they were already grown-ups.

The young form master of 1st C /Arevner/ [Suns] grade Qnarik Simonyan, who was also a graduate of the Pedagogical University, highlighted in her interview to the old.aspu.am the importance of individual work with children and assured that only due to restless dedication it would be possible to achieve desired results.

“This is an end of an important phase and a start of a new one. The children finished learning the alphabet and will now start studying literacy which is also an important and a difficult path”, mentioned the School Headmistress Naira Toghanyan and expressed her acknowledgements to the parents that had trusted on them the most cherished thing they had in life- their children.

“Let such moments be numerous in your lives; they are going to surprise us and give us a lot of pride yet.”
