KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On May 30, Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) hosted Roman Bliznyak, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and International Affairs at Armavir State Pedagogical University, Russia, and Lyudmila Khludova, Acting Head of the Department of Research and Innovation Activities and Head of International Programs at the same university.

During the meeting with Marianna Harutyunyan, Vice-Rector for HR Management and International Cooperation at ASPU, the parties discussed the results of joint programs, and reached an agreement to implement new projects in the future.

Let us remind that in 2023 the two universities in question – Armenian State Pedagogical University and Armavir State Pedagogical University – signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) for five years. Also, at the initiative of the Russian university, an international youth debate club ("Ushinsky Club") was created, which features students from ASPU.

During the working meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepen partnership, expand cooperation between the two structures, and implement new programs.

The representatives of Armavir State Pedagogical University said they will soon participate in the international summer school organized by their Armenian partner (ASPU).  They are also ready to host ASPU students within the framework of a leadership workshop program, as well as the "New Meanings of Education" international pedagogical forum.

Marianna Harutyunyan highlighted ASPU students’ participation in the international programs implemented by the Russian university. She also emphasized the importance of implementing new joint programs in the field of education.

The parties voiced hope that the ongoing cooperation between the two universities will be mutually effective and beneficial.
