The ASPU Rector Rouben Mirzakhanyan awarded the “Pedagogical University” medal to the Director of Russian Centre for Science and Culture at the Embassy of Russian Federation Mark Kalinin on completion of professional activities in the RA.
The Rector highlighted that teaching and dissemination Russian language in the RA had been and would remain one of the most important areas in the sphere of education in the country as a whole and at the University in particular.
“I wish you future productive activities and would like to assure that the APSU will further continue its active work in that area. And this medal is the proof of your effective work, successful dissemination of Russian language and culture”.
“This is the highest appraisal you gave not only to me but to the whole team of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture, which also stands for effective cooperation between the institutions we are in charge of. It is quite obliging, and I promise to further justify the high estimate of the Academic Board”, mentioned the Director of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture Mark Kalinin.
Mark Kalinin considered it a double pleasure to receive an award from the Pedagogical University; being a teacher in his first profession, he realized the role and importance of such universities in mass education sphere.
“As an educational institution preparing and training future teachers in the RA, the Pedagogical University had a massive role in the country’s life; it is the main circle of progression due to which people would love Russian language and speak it”.
Last but not least, the Director of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture assured that after returning to his homeland he would still continue developing the projects which had been initiated with the RA Ministry of ES and universities in Armenia, including the Pedagogical University.
At the end of the meeting Armenian and Russian partners exchanged with gifts.
