KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The first issue of the scientific periodical “Main Issues of Pedagogy and Psychology” has been published [in English] on the initiative of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan. According to the decision of the editorial board, the periodical will be published twice a year.

The scientific periodical “Main Issues of Pedagogy and Psychology” aims to contribute to the development and progress of pedagogical-psychological education in the Republic of Armenia. The periodical contains academic and scientific texts, scholarly and methodological articles that will help solve the problems in pedagogy and psychology, cover the issues of education management, study global practices, etc.

Famous scientists in the field of psychology, philosophy and economics from the United States, the United Kingdom, the Russian Federation and Georgia, including Tigran Sargsyan, Chief of the Editorial Board, Doctor of Economics, Professor Ruben Mirzakhanyan, Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, Doctor of Sciences (in History), Professor Srbuhi Gevorgyan, Vice-Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, Doctor of Sciences (in Psychology), Artin Göncü (USA), Professor Emeritus of Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, David J. The first issue starts with the welcome message of Professor Ruben Mirzakhanyan, Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, Doctor of Sciences (in History). The periodical also includes eleven articles on clinical psychology, methodology in psychology, age and developmental psychology, as well as pedagogy and its methods. Remarkable research in the field is presented by famous psychoanalyst Asbed Aryan (Argentina), David J. Cooke, Professor of the University of Bergen, Vladimir Mazilov, Head of the Chair of General and Social Psychology at Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University, Dr. Nikolai Veresov, researcher at the Faculty of Education, Monash University (Australia).

The scientific periodical is designed to be used by educators, psychologists, representatives of the higher education system, and all people interested in the development of pedagogical and psychological sciences.
