The young wing of ASPU’s Faculty of Art Education organized a student exhibition on the occasion of Motherhood and Beauty Day.
Over 30 works, including paintings, graphics, batiks and tapestries, made by [1st to 4th] year students of the University were put on display.
The exhibition opened with congratulations on the occasion of the spring holiday. Later on, the academic staff of the Faculty of Art Education expressed satisfaction with the exhibits, describing them as 'professional and interesting works.'
The lecturers were glad to see that the students had used in their works what they had learned during their studies.
Artashes Keshishyan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty, said that in the near future the competition commission would choose the three best works in painting, drawing, and arts and crafts.
Chairman of the ASPU Student Council Nersik Margaryan, in turn, thanked the lecturers for supporting and encouraging the young people and urged the future teachers to take and imitate the best things and practices. “The current and future teachers are the key to success of the country,” he stressed in his speech.
The exhibition dedicated to Motherhood and Beauty Day was accompanied by performances of an ensemble of violinists.
