From 25-29 May, within the framework of the Erasmus+ credit mobility project, the representatives of the University of Macerata, Italy visited the Pedagogical University. The delegation consisted of Professors Geographer Simone Betty and Historian Francesco Bartholini, as well as the Head of the Department of Internationalization Strategies Andrea Dezi, and the Coordinator of the Department of International Cooperation and Research of the Faculty of Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism Sarah Zuzulo.
The Professors delivered lectures for the students and lecturers of the Faculty of History and Law and the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography. The main topics of lectures referred to urban history, historical introduction of European cities, teaching geography of Italian educational system, presentation of Italian landscape, etc.; the session proceeded in active discussion.
In addition, during this trip the representatives of the University of Macerata had meetings with the Head of the ASPU Department of International Cooperation Mariana Harutyunyan and the staff members, the students of various Faculties of the University, and Deputy Deans for science and international cooperation matters.
Further on, the Armenian and Italian counterparts discussed the current and future projects jointly collaborated by both Universities, the Erasmus+ credit mobility programmes, as well as spoke about content and scope of the planned memorandum between the Pedagogical University and the University of Macerata.
The Head of the Department of Internationalisation Strategies Andrea Dezi was also invited to RadioFama to share with his impressions of the Pedagogical University and Armenia.
We would like to mention that the cooperation of the Pedagogical University with the University of Macerata commenced in 2018 within the framework of the Erasmus+ credit mobility project.
And last but not least, from 1-5 April, within the scope of the Erasmus+ credit mobility project, the Head of the ASPU Chair of Special Pedagogy and Psychology Tereza Azatyan and the Head of the Department of International Cooperation Marianna Harutyunyan are presenting lectures at the University of Macerata.
