From 3 to 9 May, Armenian State Pedagogical University hosted a delegation from Transilvania University of Brasov (UniTBv). Professor Mariela Pavalache-Ilie, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, and Professor Marcela Rodica Luca arrived in Armenia within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.
On the sidelines of the visit, the guests held meetings with the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Psychology and Sociology, deputy deans, lecturers and students to discuss the possible avenues of cooperation.
The sides agreed to carry out joint research both in Romania and Armenia on a number of issues in pedagogy and contemporary psychology. They also stressed the importance of mutual visits.
Marcela Rodica Luca delivered lectures on a number of issues, including socialization, entrepreneurship, personality and education, graduate work and professional engagement, and presented recent studies in these areas.
The guests were also received by Mariana Harutyunyan, Head of the International Cooperation Unit at ASPU, and representatives of the same department.
Cooperation between Transilvania University of Brasov and ASPU started in 2016 within the framework of Erasmus+ Student Credit Mobility programme. As a result, one student of ASPU majoring in psychology studied at at UniTBv for five months. In 2018, Sona Makichyan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology at ASPU was trained at the same university.
