KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Recently, a group of ASPU professors submitted to the Ethics Committee of Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) named after Mkhitar Heratsi research work entitled “Study of Neurophysiological and Psychophysiological Characteristics of Learners in Public, Inclusive and Higher Education Systems.” The paper was submitted for examination by Doctor of Biological Science, Associate Professor Narine Sahakyan, Candidates of Biological Science, Associate Professors Sirine Shogheryan and Mary Kirakosyan, and Doctor of Medical Science, Professor Stepan Grigoryan.

As a result of examination, the Ethics Committee concluded that the research does not contradict the norms of the Declaration of Helsinki – a set of ethical principles for medical research involving human subjects.
The Ethics Committee concluded that the team, with its professional qualities and competences fully corresponds to requirements for conducting research (involving human subjects) at the Experimental Laboratory of Human and Animal Physiology of ASPU.

The team is also allowed to publish scientific articles in journals included in the first or second quarter classification (Q1, Q2 quartile) by the Scimago Journal & Country Ranking where professional opinions of Ethics Committees is a primary prerequisite.
