KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A few days ago, within the scope of a round-table discussion “Intercultural Dialogue”, the Faculty of Art Education of the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, welcomed several members from the “Union of Teacher-Painters” international, creative NGO of the Russian Federation.

The Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Art Education, Professor Artashed Keshishyan introduced the guests with the functions of the Faculty, the operation and usage aimed at strengthening the important achievements and success won in the scientific and academic sphere.

Besides, the representatives of the Yerevan State Fine Art Academy, the Gyumri Branch, and the State University of Shirak presented their reports together with different teaching-painters.

Likewise ,the lecturers from our University delivered their reports; among the readers was the Head of the Chair of Art History and Culturology, , Candidate of Pedagogy, Associate Professor Satenik Melickyan, organizer of the event Candidate of Pedagogy, Asocate Professor Sevada Sargsyan
What is more, during the event various questions were raised in regards to culturology and education, discussions, dialogues, their actual aim, suggesting methods for solutions of those issues.

At the end of the round –table discussion, the Dean of the Faculty of Art Education, Candidate of Art, Associate Professor Ara Hakobyan expressed acknowledgements to all participants, looking forward to having more such events on continuous and effective basis.
