By the initiative of the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education a round-table discussion meeting was organized on the topic of “Challenges of universal inclusion at pre-school educational centres”.
Among those participating in these discussions organised on the International Education Day were students, lecturers, representatives from NGOs, preschool educational institutions, and from special schools.
In their reports the speakers referred to the analysis of age patterns of speech development in the context of inclusive education, as well as of early intervention activities. Likewise, they discussed the issues of supporting children with physical development disabilities and inclusion as an opportunity to get to know others.
The Dean of the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education Siranush Karapetyan highlighted the importance of discussions of multi-layer issues of inclusive education and stated that they would continue having active participation in discussions of inclusive education issues at preschool institutions.
Last but not least, those present once again proved that the issues raised were up-to-date and quite essential, and that such discussion meetings had a very informative role. The reports were concluded with a Question and Answer session.
