ASPU Rector Ruben Mirzakhanyan today held a meeting with the heads of the University’s Student Councils, clubs and commissions to discuss [with them] the achievements of the passing year and outline the plans for the coming year.
Wishing everyone a year full of achievements and notable success, the rector congratulated them on the occasion of New Year and Christmas. Then he spoke about the purpose of the meeting and expressed hope that the meeting would be both practical and effective.
Creation of a photo booth, experimental laboratories and improvement of plein air and studio practice… Students made numerous proposals during the meeting with the rector and vice-rectors of the University when discussing the importance of their educational needs.
Mr Mirzakhanyan assured his interlocutors that four new laboratories will be opened at the Pedagogical University in the coming year. They will be supplied with the necessary equipment, making the educational process compliant with modern requirements and educational challenges.
The rector also urged the students to come up with proposals in connection with the newly introduced interactive learning method, voice their concerns and observations which will help improve efficiency of the new method.
“We have much work to do in the next year. The University is home to all of you, be caring and hard-working and let us work together to have new achievements and success,” Ruben Mirzakhanyan said thanking everyone for the fruitful activity in 2015.
