Within the scope of the May victories, by the initiative of the Faculty of Culture, Chair of Camera Work, Artistic Photography and Socio-Cultural Activities, the freshmen and sophomores of the Departments of Camera Work and Artistic Photography spent their regular class at the Sardarapat memorial.
During the “Independent Lesson” the students once again remembered the heroic fight of Sardarapat, its defence, the disastrous situations created in our country and the unification of Armenians.
The importance of the visit to the Memorial was emphasized from the perspective of developing both the historical and professional skills.
On this occasion, the students made a tour around the Memorial guided by the lecturers visited the museum and got acquainted with the heritage and creative power of our country coming from the depth of centuries.
It became a practical place for students for taking photos and shooting videos; as a result, a lot of photos and videos were created. The best works will be exhibited at the photo exhibition headed “A Quarter Century on the Way to Independence” at the Faculty in September.
