The Faculty of Special Education organized a seminar within the framework of lectures and seminars held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia.
During the seminar on the topic of “Peculiarities of Rehabilitation Activities after Encephalic Injuries” the lecturers of the Faculty in question introduced the recovery treatments and methods of their implication as well as the specific features of the issue from the perspective of psychiatrists, logopedists, and special pedagogues.
Among those participating at the event was the Armenian logopedist from the US Lory Pogharian. The event also involved an artistic part; the specialists’ speeches were given a breaks by the performance of an elderly choir called “Narei”. In fact, the choir also included persons with visual impairments. The choir performed a number of patriotic songs including the “Sardarapat”.
The meeting was concluded with the performance of the second year and the third year students of the Faculty of Special Education Departments of Oligophrenopedagogy and Special Psychology respectively, who recited their poems.
