KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Armenian State Pedagogical University announced the start of the new academic year. On September 1, the university opened its doors in front of 547 BA and 600 MA students. Each faculty welcomed the freshmen in a unique way.

Mher Melik-Bakhshyan, ASPU Vice-Rector for Education Process Planning and Organization, congratulated students, lecturers and representatives of the field of education on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Science. Emphasizing the role of education in the modern world, the vice-rector advised first-year students to study well to become good specialists, good teachers and worthy citizens.

“The modern world sets new requirements. We should prepare competitive and qualified specialists. The Pedagogical University has does and is doing everything to meet these requirements. Students only should use that opportunity, study well and become good specialists,” Mher Melik-Bakhshyan told old.aspu.am. He added that the University will continue exchange programmes and cooperation with its partner universities. It will also develop new programmes and do everything for its students.

The deans of the ten faculties, heads of chairs and the teaching staff of the University congratulated future teachers and wished them new achievements and success.
