Student exhibition opens at NAI

On May 14, the Naregatsi Art Institute (NAI) in Yerevan hosted a photo exhibition entitled "This Colourful World with Black and White Photographs" by representatives of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

The exhibition featured 50 photos by students and graduates of the Department of Cinematography and Artistic Photography of the Faculty of Culture of ASPU.

The opening ceremony was attended by the head and deputy heads of the Department of Cinematography and Artistic Photography, professors, students, and fans of photography.

Ruben Yerzinkyan, Head of the Department of Cinematography and Artistic Photography, hailed the idea of organizing the joint exhibition of the students and the graduates. and emphasized the role of exhibitions in terms of shaping the aesthetic taste of students.

Lecturer Armen Khachatryan, the organizer of the exhibition and assistant professor at the Department of Cinematography and Artistic Photography, emphasized the role of photography in our days and, specifically among young people.

He advised the students to use bold and new methods and tools in photography. He also advised the young people who had interesting photos showcased to take a more active part in similar exhibitions.

The exhibition will run until May 17.
