KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A few days ago, on the occasion of the International Teachers Day, the ASPU students performed a concert programme headed “Pedagogy as a Profession of Future” at the “Narekatsi” Art Union.

During the event organized by the initiative of the ASPU Culture Center within the scope of strengthening the university-school links, the guest were greeted by the Director of the Centre Zhanna Khachatryan highlighting the big role of the Pedagogical University in training of Teachers, as well as the introduction of new educational technologies and their importance in recent times.

To congratulate all teachers of the country, the compositions of Y. Brams, Komitas, M. Tariverdiev, F. Chopin, G. Sviridov, Aram Khachatryan, A. Vivaldi, Eduard Danielyan, Eduard Baghdasaryan were performed by the University’ ensemble of violinists and soloists; the Art Director – Yuri Avetisyan.

At the end of the concert, the guests were saluted by the Professor of the Faculty of Art Education Yuri Yuzbashyan, Art and Culture figures, who outlined the immense work that the great forge of teachers of the country did in professional development of students the proof of which was also manifested by a cultural initiative.
