KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Upon the initiative of the Student Council of the Faculty of Culture, the Information Technology Committee organised cognitive training for all freshmen of the Faculty.

The aim of the training organised in cooperation with the specialists of the Chairs was to familiarise freshmen with Classroom, a blended e-learning platform for education used at Armenian State Pedagogical University.

The organisers say the training is very important because Classroom helps students get acquainted with educational programmes, learn their assignments and teaching material, at the same time strengthening online two-way communication between students and lecturers.

Sona Khachatryan, the person in charge for the Media Committee of the Student Council, says the application of this learning platform facilitates the work of students considering the unprecedented development of IT.

Similar training has been held for fourth-year students of the Faculty as well.
