KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A few days ago a meeting between the students and those having passed trainings at the University of Macerata of Italy within the scope of the ESPAQ Tempus programme (Increasing students’ participation in Quality Assurance (QA) processes in higher educational institutions of Armenia) was held at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Those who had passed the trainings shared with the students with their knowledge, particularly in regards with the European experience of quality assurance.

By answering the students’ questions, the freshmen of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Alina Poghosyan and Geghanush Baghdasaryan told about the whole process of the programme.

Moreover, during the meeting the issues of education quality and students’ involvement therein were much discussed, as well as they spoke about the ASPU Department of Quality Assurance and its activities.

Besides, comparison was made between the ASPU and Macerata Universities e-education systems. The students expressed wide interest and willingness to participate in such programs to be more actively involved in the quality assurance processes.

And last but not least, the students that had passed trainings at the Macerata University of Italy, promised to organize such meetings again to keep students informed.
