The next book authored by Susanna Pilosyan, Acting Professor at the Chair of Applied Sciences, Candidate of Science in Psychology, has come out. "General Psychology" is intended for students, university specialists, psychologists, as well as HR specialists and people interested in psychology.
The manual covers issues in general psychology, stages of development of psychology, biological bases of mind and behaviour, research methods and psychological theories. The book also deals with the structure of the human psyche, cognitive processes, psychology of an individual, communication and activities. The author says all branches of psychology are based on the provisions of General Psychology, which are important for those who study psychology and those who are interested in psychology.
“Psychological Science is gradually becoming one of the leading sciences, as the role of a person, as a caring being, is growing [day by day] in various spheres of public life,” says Susanna Pilosyan. She adds that interest in psychology is growing as the knowledge of this field is important to the modern men regardless of his age, gender, social status and level of education.
By the way, the educational material of the manual has been tested at the ASPU Faculty of Educational Psychology and Sociology.
