KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On February 5, the results of training series organized by the Education Development and Quality Assurance Department on Google Classroom, a blended learning platform for education, were summed up at Armenian State Pedagogical University.

The aim of the training course [held from January 25 to February 5] was introduce the new feature of Google to the ASPU teaching staff, Faculty and Chair members responsible for online training courses and develop their skills in creating a Google Classroom.

About 70 lecturers of the University participated in the training. The participants were able to store training-methodical packages, create online platforms for organizing future work with students and keeping ‘classroom communication’ through the free tool in the Google Apps for Education suite.

Online learning system has been used at the ASPU for a long time, providing web-based teaching and learning environment for first- and second-year students enrolled in full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s courses at the University.
