KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

In the framework of strengthening army-society relations, on February 12th, the meeting between RA Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan and the representatives of the senior staffs of RA higher education institutions and military education institutions.
During the meeting, the 2016 cooperation plan between higher education institutions and the Military Institute after Vazgen Sargsyan has been signed.

Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan and Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan,

Ruben Mirzakhanyan also signed the agreement between the RA Ministry of Defence and the Armenian State Pedagogical University for the organization of students’ internship and learning process in the RA MoD Aviation Institute of Marshal A. Khanperyan.

Seyran Ohanyan greeted his guests and noted that, events held in the framework of cooperation in the spheres of defence and education are aimed at promoting mobility of students and teachers between military and civil universities, and strengthening army-society relations. The Minister of Defence expressed confidence in the efficiency and positive impact of the given programs on teachers, students, and cadets. Hence, the Defence Minister hopes that the implemented events will gain a continuous and productive nature.
