“You can still do it, open your heart and let us help you; we are beside you”, with these and other similar slogans the premiere of three new social and musical video clips took place at the pedagogical University, aiming to support children with autism to overcome their issues.
The event was initiated by the ASPU Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education and the ArmDreams Production, the author of the songs and videos – Armen Virabyan.
The organizers initiated this event with confidence that all children need our love, as there is no “we and you” in societies, we are all together.
Special Pedagogues assure that the issues of children with autism can be overcome in the right environment and with the help of parents; while such a of solution of this kind of issues as shooting and presenting videos is a novelty, based on humanism and emotionality.
According to the Dean of the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education Siranoush Karapetyan this event is a godly and humane act, and its title speaks for itself.
“There were various solutions of similar problems at various times, but this format of social adaptation of people is new and based on the emotional condition, which stays in a person’s memory for a long while”, mentioned Siranoush and advised all those present to give a helping hand to one another, as people suffering from such issues were in need of our love, understanding and open arms.
Speaking about the idea and the importance of its implementation, the Head of the ArmDreams Production, author of the video clips and songs Armen Virabyan confessed that he had often noticed that the society, even the parents themselves are not sufficiently informed on how to approach children with such issues.
The ASPU Head of Department of Electronic Education Management, Producer of the ArmDreams Production Anoush Sargsyan is happy to be the linkage between the University and organizations and to organise the important public awareness raising initiative. In her opinion, kindness is a chain reaction and each and every member of the society must know that all starts with himself.
Among those present at the first show of the videos were the faculty of the University, the students, as well as singers, people with socialisation issues who prove with their daily life that the society that lives in the atmosphere of love and kindness is happier.
The meeting continued with professional discussions; those present once again stated that raising public awareness is the most important area and a priority as the issues of children with autism can be overcome thanks to their environment and parents.
