KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University Ruben Mirzakhanyan handed over certificates to lecturers who had completed a training course.

During the two-week training course consisting of 36 academic hours, 13 lecturers from the Chair of Chemistry and its Teaching Methods and the Chair of Biology and its Teaching Methods also strengthened their computer skills and pedagogical knowledge.

Addressing the lecturers, the ASPU Rector underlined the shortcomings and deficiencies which were revealed during the training course. He assured everyone that the training courses organized by the ASPU Scientific and Research Centre would be continued in the future. “The courses have an important meaning in the rankings of lecturers, therefore we should work in compliance with educational reforms,” the rector stressed in his speech.

Once again, he referred to the steps to be taken in the organization of e-learning and internship, publication of articles and research papers in international journals and other issues.

The lecturers expressed their gratitude for organizing the training course and put forward their proposals. In particular, they proposed to expand the scope of professional activities and hours of training.
