The Pedagogical University continues organizing training sessions for its academic staff. The two week /thirty six –hour/ professional training session on English language and literature started for the staff of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Chair of Romance-Germanic Languages and the Chair of Teaching Foreign Languages today.
This event is organized in a special format developed by the Research Centre with the participation of sixteen lecturers of the Faculty in question.
On this occasion, the Pedagogical University welcomed the invited lecturer from the Centre of English Language of the Old Dominion University (USA) Mr. Greg Reiver Lempan.
The author of a number of fiction literature also has a long history of teaching, as well as he was engaged in journalism and was an editor for several magazines.
The following individuals will deliver lectures during the training session: Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Yelena Mkhitaryan, Doctor of Phycology Kamo Vardanyan, Candidate of Pedagogy, Associate Professor Arthur Tadevosyan, and Assistant at the YSU Serob Khachatryan.
“These trainings aim at fostering effective implementation of professional activities. For this reason, professional skills of the training staff are paid great attention to”, the Director of the Research Centre Mr. Kamo Vardanyan mentioned in his interview to the old.aspu.am.
At the end of the training session the participants will receive certificates.
